The whole
is the point.
Eight pieces, built to answer to each other. A sculpture, a sketch, a garment. Partner Logic is what holds them together.
Part 01 · The Theory
Two curved planes hold the form.
Neither one is the form. Together, they make the space visible.
Naum Gabo built sculptures out of relationships. A line answered to a plane. A plane answered to a tension. Nothing worked alone. Everything held because of what it was next to.
The capsule is built the same way.
Eight pieces, designed to answer to each other. Curved seams that repeat and turn. Funnel collars that echo across a polo, a vest, a bomber. Volume held where another piece runs lean. Each garment reads on its own. Put any two together and a third thing happens.
We call it Partner Logic. No matching sets. No required uniforms. Cohesion without uniformity.
Each piece holds on its own. Together, they argue something larger.
Part 02 · Partner Logic
Connection without conformity.
Cohesion. Never repetition.
Partner Logic is the system of every Scratch Theory capsule. Pieces relate to each other through shared color, fabric, and design language while still allowing individual choice in silhouette and styling.
No matching sets. No required uniforms. A capsule that reads as one idea and wears as eight. Each piece holds on its own. Together they argue something larger.
Part 03 · Inspiration
Naum Gabo.
A sculptor who built form from space, not material.
Gabo's constructivist practice explored how forms relate through tension, transparency, and connected systems. The work is understood through how the elements connect, not through what they fill. The same logic shapes everything we build.

Part 04 · The Four Qualities
What we pulled.
Four qualities from Gabo's work, redrawn for cloth.
01
Linear Flow
Curved seams that guide the eye and follow the body. The shoulder, the hip, the hem read as one continuous line. Construction in service of silhouette.
02
Transparency & Layering
Form revealed through layered structure. What sits beneath defines what sits on top. Each layer matters because each layer is seen.
03
Tension & Soft Structure
Wraps, drapes, and gathered volumes held in deliberate tension. Movement contained, not arrested. Softness with a backbone.
04
Connected Systems
The whole is built from related parts. Each piece reads as itself, and as a member of something larger. The capsule is the unit, not the garment.
Part 05 · How It Becomes
Sculpture. Sketch. Garment.
Each piece in Capsule 01 traces back to a single source.
The Source
Spheric Theme, 1937
Two curved planes hold the form. Neither one is the form. Together, they make space visible.
The Translation
Curved collar architecture
Two collars. Inner funnel. Outer polo. One structure built from two forms. Sculptural detail through connected independence.
The Garment
Suspended Vest
Worn quiet. Plays loud. The piece that holds the capsule in tension, and the one every other piece answers to.
Part 06 · Palette
Capsule 01.
Four colors. Each one carries a weight. None of them shout.

Part 07 - Fabric Direction
The material system.
Natural fibre blends and compact knit constructions - balanced for golf performance and an elevated everyday feel.
Smooth jerseys, structured knits, and soft woven blends support Partner Logic - offering variation in weight, texture, and drape across the eight pieces. The result is a polished, wearable, quietly luxurious fabric system.
Brushed Wool Blend
Warm hand feel. Soft structure. Drapes with weight.
Compact Jersey Knit
Refined surface. Understated stretch. Holds its shape.
Structured Knit
Visible texture. Technical weight. The most deliberate hand.
